Crestline Construction 2022 in Review

2022 was another year of prolific work for Crestline Construction. From the Midwest to the Southeast, Crestline’s reach has expanded into multiple states and produced eminent results across our many projects. As the year winds down, we want to share all the fantastic feats achieved by our team these last twelve months.

In Evansville, Indiana, Central Lofts was completed and handed off to our partners at Crestline Communities for management. A rehabilitation of the former YMCA building, Central Lofts maintains a historic aesthetic mixed with modern sensibilities. The unique units and resident needs considered in the designs enhance the concept of affordable living. Developed by Jon Anderson, Central Lofts provides imperative affordable housing in the heart of downtown while helping enhance the urban center. Already fully leased, Central Lofts is already creating a legacy in its first year.

Rehabilitation of the historic Backstay building in Union City was completed and Crestline Communities achieved full leasing. Formerly a welt factory, the building now houses a series of unique apartments conveniently located within the town. Developed by Jon Anderson, what had become a local eye-sore is now an anchor for economic development in the area and will help raise the local profile.

In South Carolina, great strides have been made on our first project in the southeast region: Holding Village. Once an empty field, the Holding Village site now has a dozen structures erected and being fitted with utilities. An ambitious project that will provide a considerable quantity of brand-new housing in an area that is on the rise. Our experienced teams in the southeast have been working diligently on this project and we are very excited to show off the final product in early 2023. Holding Village is being developed by Woodfield Development.

The 4-West project was started in Columbia, South Carolina as part of a larger economic development plan for the city. Centrally located in the urban center, 4-West will provide modern housing options for residents as high-density housing needs continue for expanding cities. Unique to 4-West is how its primary structure is being integrated with the already established buildings in the area. 4-West is slated to be complete early 2023.

In Plainfield, Indiana, Apex at Perry Crossing began construction and last month handed off the clubhouse and first residential building to the management team. Phase One of the project is nearing completion and Phase Two will be completed in the coming months. Developed by Sila Capital, Apex at Perry Crossing is leasing apartments now.

Close to the Alabama Gulf Coast in Foley, we broke ground on a brand-new development: The Rivi Apartments. With easy access to the city or the beach, shopping, dining and entertainment venues close by, The Rivi puts you right at the center of all that the city has to offer. Developed by CSC Development (a partnership of Crestline and Sila Capital), The Rivi is scheduled for completion in Fall 2023.

Beyond our multi-family work, we had the opportunity to complete commercial projects that also local economic development. We continued our partnership with Shoe Show by completing two new stores in Springfield. Ohio and Richmond, Indiana. While our specialty is in multi-family construction, our capabilities include helping businesses create growth and tap into new markets.

Our industry is ever shifting, but our capable and dedicated staff allow Crestline to efficiently navigate hurdles as we strive towards our goal of ‘predictive, positive results’. We have met many challenges this past year and know that there will be more in 2023. But we are ready to meet them head on and know we will achieve great results as we look ahead to 2023. Have a happy new year and check back soon as we continue to provide updates about our active and upcoming projects.
